Ralph Graham has been a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon for Kent CHT for the last 15 years and has practiced in Surrey and Essex for 25 years.
Mr Graham graduated from the London Foot Hospital in 1970. Sadly this excellent specialist hospital has been subsumed into University College Hospital in London and no longer trains podiatrists. Mr Graham was awarded a Churchill Scholarship, in 1980, to visit the USA which, at the time, led the world in foot surgery. On his return he was part of the development of better foot surgery and gained his first Consultant post at the Chelmsford and Essex Hospital. He worked for Mid Essex Hospital Trust until he moved to Kent.
Mr Graham believes the quality of bunion and forefoot surgery has improved immeasurably over the last 25 years, although he also believes that there is still much to learn, especially in those under 20, which forms the greater part of his practice. He is also keen to see adult flatfoot cases.
