Cosmetic and Aesthetic at Baddow Hospital

Rhinoplasty and Septorhinoplasty Nose Cosmetic Surgery

Nose Cosmetic Surgery is an effective surgical solution for correcting or changing the size and shape of your nose. There are many different reasons for choosing cosmetic surgery. You may decide to have your nose altered for cosmetic reasons or to restore the shape of your nose following an injury.

At your consultation at Baddow Hospital, your surgeon will examine your nose and measure its shape and size.   Photographs will also be taken, either at your consultation or before surgery so the results of the surgery can be compared.

Nose Cosmetic Surgery Procedures

Nose cosmetic surgery is performed under general anaesthetic, normally takes about two hours and can be performed as a day case procedure.

What To Do After Nose Surgery Cosmetic Surgery

Following a nose reshaping procedure, a splint will be fitted to maintain the new shape of your nose which should be worn for approximately one week.

You may have dressings (packs) in each nostril for a day or two. These will stop you from breathing through your nose. You may also have splints inside your nostrils as well as over your nose to keep the nasal bones in place for a week or two.
You will need to arrange for someone to drive you home and to stay with you for the first 24 hours.
