Talk to your GP about bleeding between periods

Chloe JohnsonHealth Tip

Talk to your GP about bleeding between periods.

Abnormal bleeding doesn’t always mean heavy bleeding, it also means bleeding in between your periods when you wouldn’t normally expect it. It is important that if you experience these symptoms you visit your GP or gynaecologist to explore further. Bleeding between periods or after intercourse can be a sign of Endometriosis, vaginal ulceration, thyroid problems, cervical cancer, PCOS, inflammation of the cervix, fibroids or a sign your contraceptive pill isn’t working properly.
