Mr Ralph Graham
Mr Graham is currently a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon for Kent CHT where he has been for the last 15 years. He practices in Surrey for Surrey and Sussex Consultant Practitioners and has practiced in Essex for 25 years.
Ralph graduated from the London Foot Hospital in 1970. Sadly this excellent specialist hospital has been subsumed into University College Hospital in London and no longer trains podiatrists. Ralph was awarded a Churchill Scholarship in 1980 to visit the USA which led the world in foot surgery at that time. On his return he was part of the development of better foot surgery and gained his first Consultant post at the Chelmsford and Essex Hospital. He worked for Mid Essex until he moved to Kent.
When not organising conferences or lecturing he greatly enjoys the theatre with his wife and travelling. He has an interest in history and the USA which is good because his wife is a Historian specialising in American History. He is trying to be a good grandfather.
The quality of bunion and forefoot surgery has improved immeasureably over the last 25 years however there is still much to learn especially in those under 20. This forms a great part of his practice. He is also keen to see adult flatfoot cases.
